Angelia (Angie) Delaine Allmond, 68, of Harrison, Arkansas went to be with the Lord and her husband, James Allmond on February 14, 2022. This date would have been their 48 th Wedding Anniversary, where she was reunited with both loves of her life, her Savior Jesus Christ and her hubby, Jim, a true ending to an amazing love story.
Angelia is survived by her children, Brett S. Allmond (Carmen), of Beaver Falls, PA, Jeremy T. Allmond (Christy), of Harrison, AR, and Kimberly C. Balk (Mark O'Brien) of Austin, TX, plus 11 grandchildren.
Angie Allmond was born July 7, 1953 in Columbia, South Carolina to Melvin Branham and Ronella Dinkins. Still surviving of her family is her mother Ronella Moses, 3 sisters, Cindy Armstrong of Ridgeway, S.C., Paulette Moses, of Columbia, S.C., and Paula Moses, of Columbia, S.C. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Wells, her biological father, Melvin Branham, and her dad, Paul Moses.
Angie was raised in a military family, and spent her early years in Okinawa, TX, Washington, ending up in Ft. Jackson, S.C. It was at Ft. Lewis, WA that she met her future husband, James Allmond, and followed him back to Ft. Jackson, where they were later married on February 14, 1974.
Angie loved being outside with her animals, especially her chickens. She was known to take in any stray animal that needed a home, to include possums and silver foxes. She enjoyed being a pastor's wife for over 30 years, and loved being able to visit her grandchildren, especially the ones that were close by in Harrison.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, AR with Pastor Daniel Riggs officiating. Burial will follow at Grubb Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Michael Jonathan Balk, Gabriel Balk, Ethan Balk, Daniel Balk, Landon Allmond and Larry Berry. Honorary pallbearers are Gavin Allmond, Brylee Methvin, Harold Sherill and Terry Baumann.
