Amanda Mathese Batson, age 23 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

The daughter of Thomas E. Batson II and Rebecca (Scott) Sisk was born January 23, 1991 in Oceanside, California.

Amanda graduated from Harrison High School with the Class of 2009. She then graduated from James River Leadership College with an Associates Degree. She was currently attending Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri.

She was a member of James River Assembly of God, and attended Faith Assembly of God and Central Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas Batson and her aunt, Sheila Batson.

Survivors are her parents, Tom and Fay Batson of Harrison and Rebecca and Ron Sisk of Texarkana, Arkansas; brothers, Thomas Batson III, Jason Batson, and Aaron Batson, all of Harrison; sisters, Sabrina Batson and Rachel Batson, both of Texarkana, Arkansas; grandparents, Naomi Johnston of Harrison, Peggy Batson of Harrison and Edwin and Glenda Scott of Tennessee; three nieces; one nephew; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation was Friday, April 11, 2014 at Faith Assembly of God in Harrison.

Funeral service was Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Faith Assembly of God with Pastor Arlis Thrasher and Pastor Brian Herring officiating.

Burial  followed in Maple Leaf Cemetery with pallbearers being Jason Batson, Aaron Batson, Thomas Batson III, John O'Brien, Steve Miller, Gene Atwell, Jeff Robinson, and Danny Mayes.

Honorary pallbearers were John Spence and Don Hinkle.
