Alta Fern Breedlove, age 86 of Wayton, AR, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper, AR.

The daughter of Cecil and Nora (Taylor) Murray was born February 25, 1935 in Wayton, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Arlo Breedlove; and her brother, Ellis Murray.

Alta enjoyed gardening, cooking, flowers and hunting mushrooms in the spring.  She also enjoyed visiting with her neighbors. She worked at the Cliff House in Jasper for many years and lived in Newton County all her life.

Alta is survived by her sons, Danny Breedlove of Wayton, AR and David Breedlove and his wife Sandra of Everton, AR; her grandchildren, Justin Campbell and his wife Heather, Dusty Breedlove and his wife Cammie, Ashley Clifford and her husband Boone, and Haley Casey and her husband Tyler; and 11 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by honorary family members Monte and Lisa Willis and their sons, Quentin and Brandon.

Funeral service will be 11:00AM Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Rev. Stan Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Snow Cemetery in Wayton, AR.

Visitation will be Thursday at 10:00AM prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Justin Campbell, Dusty Breedlove, Boone Clifford, Monte Willis, Quenton Willis, Brandon Willis, and Tyler Casey.

Honorary pallbearers are Reid Breedlove, Gus Erby, Reese Breedlove, Sophie Clifford, Scarlett Clifford, Jackson Clifford, Beckham Campbell, Micah Campbell, Asher Campbell, Kinley Casey, and Tate Casey, and the staff of the Newton County Nursing Home.
