Alice Jane Blair, age 69 of Peel, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in Peel.
The daughter of William Adison and Eva Dell (Higgins) Davis was born on March 8, 1946 in Sylacauga, Alabama.
Alice was a member of Peel Full Gospel Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for over 30 years. She loved to quilt and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mitchell Daniel Blair; 4 brothers, 1 sister and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by 1 son, Robert Blair and wife Lisa of Peel; 2 daughters, Anita Stayton of Peel and Michelle Powell and husband Tommy of Diamond City, Arkansas; 3 brothers, Johnny Davis, Roger Davis and Wiley Davis all of Sycamore, Alabama; 3 sisters, Elsie Edwards of Harrison, Arkansas, Norene Epperson of Sylacauga, Alabama and Lucy Castleberry of Pell City, Alabama; 6 grandchildren, Chris Cain, Anthony Powell, McKensie Powell, Justin Cain, Mitchell Stayton and Kaylee Stayton; and 1 great-grandchild, Dustin Powell.
Services will be Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Peel Full Gospel Church with Brother Curly Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Peel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Pallbearers include Chris Cain, Anthony Powell, Justin Cain, Mitchell Stayton, John Edwards, Jr. and Jason Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Peel Full Gospel Christian Academy, 5411 Marion County 2059, Peel, Arkansas 72668.
