Alethea Ann Harpold Butcher, age 80 of Western Grove, Arkansas formerly of Yonkers, New York passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
The daughter of Lloyd B. Healy and Thelma (Ruxton) Skiff was born August 1, 1933 in Yonkers, New York.
She was a very loving mother and had a great love for animals. She was a member of Gaither Extension Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Nadine Doughtery.
Survivors are her son, Bill Lipscomb and wife Cheryl of Safety Harbor, Florida; sisters, Laura Blose of Fishkill, New York and Nadine Magri of Rye Brook, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
The memorial service has been delayed due to inclement weather conditions.
