Obituary
Alberta J. Hatfield, age 57 of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The daughter of Luther and Rhoda (Kirkendall) Christian, she was born June 22, 1952 in Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Alberta was a member of Pindall Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Dwain Hatfield of the home; children, Thomas Layne Hatfield and his wife, Amanda of Fayetteville and Tammy L. Martin of Eagle Rock, Missouri; grandchildren, Willard Dwain Cole, Justin Wayne Cole, Shelby Lynn Cole, and Mya Jayde Hatfield, all of Alpena; one grandchild on the way; brothers, Joe Christian and Wayne Christian both of Western Grove; sisters, Edith Christian and Kathryn Sikes both of Huntsville, and Alethea Campbell of Western Grove.
Visitation was open at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Funeral services were Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with David Tackett officiating. Burial followed in Alabam Cemetery near Huntsville.
Pallbearers were Bill Jones, Charles Berry, Billy Goucher, Nelson Cowles, Matt Wyatt, and Cody Wyatt. Honorary pallbearers are Howard McLoud, Glen Cole, Jerry Campbell, Wayne Christian, Marvin Jones, Charles Bohannon, Will Cole, and Justin Cole.
The family would accept any financial assistance available to help with funeral expenses.
