Obituary

Albert McFarlan, age 67 of Everton, AR passed away Sunday, April 16, 2006 at his home.

The son of Andrew and Eva (Hembrey) McFarlan was born December 11, 1938 at Western Grove, AR.

Albert always worked close with his family. He worked closely with his family including 30 years hanging sheet rock with his sons. He then bought a farm where he built chicken houses, raised cattle, and had a litter business. He enjoyed hunting with his family, going to deer camp, and making trips to South Dakota to Pheasant hunt. Albert loved his bird dogs.

He especially loved his family and was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Walter, Melvin, and Willard McFarlan.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Jenettia McFarlan of the home; two sons, Mike McFarlan of Everton and James McFarlan of Erbie; one daughter, Renee Eddings of Harrison; son-in-law, Ray Eddings and daughter-in-law, Gwyn McFarlan; grandchildren, Heather and J.J. Slayton of Centerton, AR, Heath and Shannon McFarlan of Everton, Lisa McFarlan of Avoka, AR, Jessica Rowe of Harrison, Michael Gardner of Everton, and Hunter Eddings of Harrison; great grandchildren, Alivia Slayton, Lacy and Karley McFarlan, Amity and Isaac Rowe, and Mikah and Dawson Gardner; sisters, Dorothy Coley of Gassville, AR, Lorene Watts of Marshall, AR, Juanita Yancey of Harrison, and Norma Jean Preston of Cookeville, TN; brothers, Delbert McFarlan of Valley Springs, AR, Bill McFarlan of Cross City, FL, and Charles McFarlan of Omaha, AR; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Rik Mask Sayre; and many other family and friends.

Funeral service was 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 19 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Rev. Leo Dye officiating. Burial was in Western Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike McFarlan, James McFarlan, Heath McFarlan, Michael Gardner, Steve McFarlan, Kevin McFarlan, Ricky Mask, and Ray Eddings. Honorary pallbearers were J.J. Slayton, Tom McFarlan, Donald Watts, Craig Watts, Alan Connolly, and Jerry
Henderson.
