Obituary
Albert Gene Keys, age 81 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday November 27, 2015 in Harrison.
The son of Lester and Belle (Sherfield) Keys was born on January 8, 1934 in Shiloh, Arkansas.
Albert and his wife Dorothy moved from Lancaster, California in 1993 to Harrison. While in Lancaster, he owned his own pest control company for 30 years. After moving to Harrison, he worked at Wal Mart for over 20 years. He was a member of the Quartz Hill Assembly of God Church where he served as a Deacon for over 20 years. He then attended the Union Road Assembly of God in Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, James, Charley, Jarvis, Homer and Ray Keys and one sister, Dorothy Jessing.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Moss) Keys of the home; one son, Steven Keys and wife Stacey of Lebanon, Oregon; one brother, George Keys of Neosho, Missouri; two sisters, Phyllis Herrera of Medford, Oregon and Betty Jamison of Harrison; two grandchildren, Jessica Hooper and Erica Floro; three great-grandchildren, Alizabeth Floro, Alana Floro and Sawyer Floro and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Kathy Eddings officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 am in the Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Harrison.
Pallbearers include Steven Keys, Marc Bradshaw, Brandon Smith, Benjamin Hicks and Jonathan Hicks. Honorary pallbearers include the Staff of Hospice House, Dr. Ali Abdelaal, Dr. Steve Shrum and Michael Bradshaw.
