Adam Lee Rine, age 54 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away at Washington Regional Medical Center on Friday, September 9, 2016; after a 10 year battle, he is now walking with the Lord.
The son of Carl Newton Rine, Sr. and Rita Jean (Patterson) Rine was born January 24, 1962 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Adam has been a resident of Harrison since 1978 moving here from Iowa. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting turkey, deer and mushrooms and going fishing, and was an avid knife collector.
He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and loved his dogs Tator and Dozer. Adam was always happy, full of jokes and lived life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister-in-law, Judy Rine.
Adam is survived by his wife of 29 years, Carla of the home; his parents, Carl Rine, Sr. and Rita Rine of Tribune, KS; his brothers and sisters, Mark Rine of Tribune, KS; Kelly Young and husband David of Tribune, KS; Mike Rine of Dardanelle; Allen Rine and wife Jennifer of Harrison; Carl Newton Rine, Jr. and wife Tracy of Harrison; and Mary Hudson and husband Keith of Harrison; his father and mother-in-law, Jimmy Dale and Mary Edwards of Harrison; and brother's and sister's-in-law, Rick and Cathy Brisco, Charles and Tina Edwards and Cindy and Jeff Jones all of Harrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
The family would like to give a special thank you to his sister and caregiver, Mary Hudson, for her time, care and love for the last 10 years.
Services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church with Pastor Craig Villines and Pastor Rick Brisco officiating. Burial will follow at Summers Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Donavan Villines, David Day, Charles Edwards, Justin Jones, Garrett Rine, Brian Hudson, Vance Crow and Mason Brisco.
Honorary pallbearers are Rick Widner, Donnie Villines, Dr. Geoffrey Dunaway, Roy Arnold, David Clark, Carl Rine, Jr., Don Mulford, Mark Mulford, Donnie Napier and Ronnie Rose.
Visitation will be Monday, September 12 from 6-9 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
