Michael Lynn Mathews, 57 of Harrison, passed away December 26, 2011 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Springfield, MO.

The son of Billy Lee and Billie (Moser) Mathews was born June 23, 1954 in Littlefield, Texas.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and attended Shiloh Baptist Church. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Crawford) Mathews of Harrison; his son, Josh Mathews and wife Jess of Harrison; his daughters, Tara Smith and husband Jeff and Nicole Snow and husband Chase all of Harrison; his mother Billie Mathews of Cotter, AR.; his brothers, Tony Mathews, Rodney Mathews and wife Katie all of Lonesdale, AR, and Greg Mathews and wife Melissa of Flippin, AR.; his sister, Karen Scott and husband Johnny of Mt. Home, AR.

He is also surived by his grandchildren, Dalton, Sydney, Larkyn, Lyzah, Laikyn, Kenley and one on the way, Casen Michael.

Visitation was Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Funeral service was Thursday, December 29 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Jim Kyle officiating. Burial will follow at Mammoth Cemetery in Mammoth, MO.

Pallbearers were Josh Mathews, Jeff Smith, Chase Snow, Dalton Smith, Larry Joe King, Truman Sellers, Rodney Mathews, Greg Mathews and Tony Mathews.

Honorary pallbearers were Don Tomlinson, Jr. Skaggs, Louis Melton, Lead Hill Bass Club, The faculty and staff of North Arkansas College, Johnny Scott, the staff of Select Specialty Hospital, Bryan Crawford and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mammoth Cemetery Fund C/O Mary Kyle, HC 5 Box 3, Gainesville, MO 65655.
